군백기 없다..방탄소년단 ‘봄날’ 6년 만 역주행, 83개 지역 깜짝 1위 그룹 방탄소년단(BTS, RM 진 슈가 제이홉 지민 뷔 정국)의 ‘봄날’이 6년 만에 또 한번 글로벌 차트를 강타했다. 지난 13일 일본 오리콘 차트가 발표한 ‘데일리 디지털 싱글 랭킹'(12월 12일 자)에서 방탄소년단이 2017년 발매한 ‘WINGS 외전: YOU NEVER WALK ALONE’의 타이틀곡 ‘봄날’이 깜짝 1위에 올랐다. 이 차트의 순위권 밖에 자리했던 ‘봄날’이 순위가 급상승하며 1위로 직행한 것이다. 또한 ‘봄날’은 12일부터 14일 오전 8시까지 기준으로 미국, 일본, 독일, 영국, 프랑스 등을 비롯해 총 83개 국가/지역의 아이튠즈 ‘톱 송’ 차트 1위를 찍었다. 다수의 국가/지역 ‘톱 송’ 차트에서 연말을 맞아 캐럴(Carol) 장르가 강세를 보이는 가운데, 머라이어 캐리(Mariah Carey)의 메가 히트곡 ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’를 제치고 ‘봄날’이 차트 정상에 올라 눈길을 끈다. 이 같은 ‘봄날’의 역주행에는 아미(ARMY. 팬덤명)의 저력이 있었다. 지난 12일부로 전원 군 복무에 돌입한 방탄소년단의 오는 2025년 완전체 활동을 기다리는 팬들의 따뜻한 마음이 차트에 반영된 것으로 예상된다. 한편, ‘봄날’은 브릿 록(Brit-rock)적인 감성과 일렉트로닉 사운드가 결합된 얼터너티브 힙합(Alternative hip-hop) 장르의 곡으로, RM과 슈가가 작곡에 참여해 멀어진 친구와의 만남을 기다리며 희망을 잃지 않겠다는 메시지를 곡에 담았다.
