BTS Jin and J-Hope’s bow to the ancestral tablets→Reason for RM’s shaved head..BTS Suga, ‘D-Day’ finale
The members of the boy group BTS showed their happy state at Suga’s concert.
On the 6th, Suga’s encore concert “SUGA | Agust D TOUR D-DAY THE FINAL” was held at the KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu, Seoul. The concert was broadcasted online through Weverse.
“D-DAY” is a concert that portrays Suga’s identity as he moves back and forth between himself and his solo activity name, Agust D, which he released under the same name as his solo album “D-DAY,” and the tracks of his existing mixtape “Agust D” and “D-2.”
Through his first solo concert “D-DAY,” which continued with a total of 10 cities and 25 performances, including Belmont Park, Newark, Rosemont, Los Angeles, Auckland, Jakarta, Japan, Bangkok, and Seoul from April to June, Suga met more than 290,000 fans.
Suga opened the performance with ‘Haegeum’. He then delivered stages for ‘Daechwita’, ‘Agust D’, and ‘Give It to Me’.
After the performance, Suga said, “The real final day of the ‘D-Day’ concert has begun.”
He continued, “Even though this is the last third performance, the cheers from the day when we announced the encore concert are still vivid.”
Suga also urged everyone to do their best and enjoy the final day together so that there would be no regrets. “Today is really the last day. Please put down your phones and capture this moment with your eyes,” he said.
Following that, stages for “Trivia: Seesaw,” “SDL,” and “Person + Person Pt.2” were performed. In particular, after the “Person + Person Pt.2” stage, member Suga shouted out the name of member J-Hope, who had created the choreography for the song as a gift for Suga.
Later on, during the concert, the video screen captured the appearance of members Jin and J-Hope, who were attending the concert as audience members. Jin and J-Hope, who respectively enlisted in December of last year and April of this year, were shown performing a military salute while wearing hats.
Suga expressed affection for the members who came to the concert. He said, “I want to thank J-Hope, who made an awesome choreography, and Jin hyung” and added, “When I perform this song, I feel like I’m with J-Hope.”
Furthermore, Suga promised a passionate performance. He said, “Finally, the time has come. The softest section is over,” and presented dazzling and intense stages for “Moonlight,” “Burn It,” and “Strange.”
Member RM also made a surprise guest appearance at this concert. RM expressed his gratitude, saying, “I’m honored to be able to join (the performance’s) final finale where Sugar hyung was struggling alone.”
RM appeared with his short hair, catching attention. He explained, “What I want to say is about my hair. I receive 5-6 calls a day about it. It has nothing to do with my enlistment.” He added, “I’ll know when the enlistment notice comes out, but it hasn’t been decided yet. I cut it because it was too hot.”
In addition, RM also revealed a song he is currently working on for his fans. Before the stage, he said, “Actually, I think this will be my last live before enlistment. So I brought a gift instead.” He added, “It’s a song that’s still in progress and not yet complete, but it’s one of my favorites. I thought it would be great to sing it with you guys. I haven’t decided on the title yet, but I’ll let you hear it.”
Afterwards, RM showcased a warm and sweet song, capturing the hearts of fans.
Suga’s passionate performance continued. He matched his breath with ARMY’s on ‘Interlude: Shadow’, ‘BTS Cypher PT.3: KILLER + BTS Cypher 4 Medley’, ‘UGH! + Ddaeng + HUH?!’.
After the stage, he showed an excited look, saying, “Can’t you feel it too? Today’s performance is legendary,” with sweat pouring down.
Suga also decorated the stage with fans. He created a fantastic stage by combining fans’ singing and shouting on ‘Life Goes On’.
Then, the ‘Snooze’ stage followed. Especially, Suga was moved by the current moments and eventually shed tears. He also unveiled the stage of ‘What Do You Think?’ for the first time.
Suga comforted fans who were disappointed, saying, “Today’s performance is over. We finished the 28th journey, so we have to rest,” and then performed the final song ‘AMYGDALA’ amid a loud cheer.
