BTS’S JUNGKOOK PUBLICLY APOLOGIZES TO ARMY FOR HIS MISTAKE, SAYING “THERE ARE NO EXCUSES” [STAR ISSUE]
BTS’s Jungkook expressed his regret about his live performance.
On the 8th, Jungkook stated in the official fan community, “ARMY, I’m sorry. The live didn’t go well. There are no excuses. I’ll do better next time.”
Earlier on the same day, Jungkook performed on a live broadcast stage in New York City, USA, singing “3D” and “Standing Next to You.” With his flawless live skills accompanied by live session performances, Jungkook impressed not only local fans but also global ARMYs, showing his qualities as the “Live Emperor.”
As a result, fans responded to Jungkook’s comment about the live performance, saying, “He’s deceiving us,” “What went wrong?” “What exactly went wrong?” “It was too perfect,” “Jungkook did an amazing job,” and more, engaging in communication with him.
Jungkook, who released his solo album ‘GOLDEN’ on the 3rd, continues to achieve great success on various music charts worldwide. According to the latest chart released by the US music specialist media Billboard on the 7th (local time) (as of November 11), Jungkook placed two collaboration songs, ‘TOO MUCH’ (93rd) with The Kid LAROI and Central Cee, and ‘3D (feat. Jack Harlow)’ (100th), on the main song chart ‘Hot 100’ for two consecutive weeks.
On the 8th, ‘GOLDEN’ topped the weekly album ranking announced by the Japanese Oricon chart (covering the period from October 30 to November 2) with sales of over 207,000 copies. This is the second time this year that a male solo artist has reached number one on this chart, following Jimin’s first solo album ‘FACE’ in April.
