The Doja Cat is back! BTS Jungkook’s ‘Seven’ regains the top spot on the Spotify Global Chart.
BTS member Jungkook’s solo single ‘Seven’ has reclaimed the top spot on the Spotify global chart, showcasing its ‘global popularity’.
Jungkook’s solo single ‘Seven’, released on July 14th, once again took the number one spot on Spotify’s ‘Daily Top Songs Global’ chart on October 1st, demonstrating its powerful streaming power.
‘Seven’ recorded over 6.82 million streams on the ‘Daily Top Songs Global’ chart (after filtering), surpassing the previous number one song ‘Paint The Town Red’ by global pop star Doja Cat, and rose to the top position.
‘Seven’ boasted an impressive feat of entering the number one spot for a record-breaking 58 days, making it the first and longest-running Asian song to achieve this.
In addition, on the ‘Daily Top Song Global’ chart, Jungkook’s second solo single ‘3D’ ranked third, charting two songs in the top 3, proving the ‘global pop star’s’ prestige and revealing that he continues to receive hot love from listeners around the world.
Previously, ‘Seven’ set a record as the first and longest-running Asian artist song to top the Spotify ‘Weekly Top Song Global’ chart for 8 consecutive weeks.
Moreover, it surpassed 100 million streams (unfiltered) within the fastest period in Spotify history, within 6 days, and set records for reaching 200 million in just 14 days, 300 million in 23 days, 400 million in 33 days, 500 million in 43 days, 600 million in 54 days, and 700 million streams in 65 days (unfiltered) among male artists worldwide.
‘Seven’ has set a total of three new records, including the most-streamed track by a male artist worldwide on the Spotify Global Chart, with a staggering 897,481,710 streams in one week (after filtering), and achieving 100 million streams in the shortest period of time (after filtering). These achievements have been officially recognized by the Guinness World Records.
Furthermore, ‘Seven’ made its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, reaching the number one spot, making it the first Asian artist to achieve this feat. It also topped the Global 200 and Global (excluding the United States) charts for a record-breaking seven consecutive weeks.
Meanwhile, Jungkook’s ‘3D’ is dominating the global music scene, topping the iTunes Top Songs chart in 105 countries and regions, solidifying its global success.
