BTS Jimin’s ‘Like Crazy’ becomes the most streamed Korean song on Spotify in Korea, and is expected to be the most played Korean song until 2023.
BTS member Jimin’s solo song ‘Like Crazy’ has set a new record on Korean Spotify.
According to Korean Spotify records on September 2nd, ‘Like Crazy’ by Jimin became the only solo song to be in the top 5 streaming songs of all time with 10.8 million streams, only 5 months after its release, and achieved the honor of having the most streams.
In addition, they have achieved a significant milestone in the history of Korean solo music, following their impressive feat of being the first K-pop solo artist to top the US Billboard Hot 100 chart with the highest number of solo song streams in Korean music, as well as the most solo song streams among global music releases in 2023.
‘Like Crazy’ is about to surpass 500 million streams in the Korean version alone, exceeding 490 million streams on September 3, and continues to set a record of over 700 million streams in total when combined with all versions.
Especially, after reaching the top of the Spotify global daily top songs chart, the first Korean solo artist to do so, it maintained its position on the chart every day for 152 days, securing the record for the longest-charting K-pop artist.
As of September 3, Jimin was the only solo artist to be ranked first for 114 days on the Korean Spotify daily top artist chart and 17 weeks (August 25-31) on the weekly top artist chart. He also swept the record for the longest-charting K-pop solo artist on the Spotify global daily top artist chart for 173 days.
‘Like Crazy’, which has the most listeners worldwide in English-speaking and Latin American countries on the Spotify chart, is a Korean song without any collaboration with famous pop stars and proudly sets a dazzling K-pop milestone on the world stage.
