Black Swan and BTS Stage garner attention from fans in 90 countries worldwide just 10 days after their release.
The global K-pop girl group “Black Swan,” which opened on the 1st, has garnered explosive attention worldwide with their pre-stage, attracting a global fandom from over 90 countries in just 10 days since the opening.
Black Swan is a multinational K-pop girl group composed of four members: Pato from Belgium, Sriya from India, Gavy from Brazil, and Enbi from the United States. As the first K-pop group composed entirely of foreigners, they have attracted the attention of various overseas media outlets such as Billboard, CNN, BBC, and Rolling Stones India. They have been actively promoting their recent single “Cat & Mouse” and opened an official pre-stage (blackswan.bstage.in) on the 1st to communicate with their global fandom.
DR Music, the agency of Black Swan, analyzed the fan influx data by country on the pre-stage management page and found that more than 90 countries joined within 10 days after the pre-stage opened, with the United States (36%), India (14%), and Brazil (9%) being the top three countries. It was also revealed that high registration rates were observed in countries such as the UK, Korea, France, Nigeria, Canada, South Africa, and Russia, indicating a high level of interest in Black Swan from all continents around the world, from Asia to Europe, North America, and Africa. In particular, the number of members has increased by about 50% compared to the opening day, and fan participation is steadily increasing.
The background of the global fandom gathering on Black Swan’s pre-stage is due to the artist’s active communication and the agency’s data-based platform operation. Black Swan members are closely communicating with their global fandom through the pre-stage’s “Star Story” function, and have strengthened two-way communication by enabling fandoms to easily leave messages through the “Community” feature. In addition, DR Music is actively utilizing the pre-stage’s characteristic of “data ownership” to directly analyze global fandom data and provide the content that fans want, leading to positive reactions from the global fandom.
