LE SSERAFIM, Demi Lovato, and ‘Ifpu’ collaboration.. Superstar and exceptional synergy
Girl group LE SSERAFIM has once again demonstrated exceptional synergy through collaboration with a global superstar.
On the afternoon of the 4th, LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Heo Yoonjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae) released the audio and visualizer video for “Eve, Psyche, and Bluebeard’s Wife (feat. Demi Lovato).” This song is a remix version of “Eve, Psyche, and Bluebeard’s Wife (English ver.),” which was recognized for its musicality and nominated for the prestigious American music awards ceremony, the Grammy Awards, after its release on the 6th of last month. World superstar Demi Lovato participated in the featuring.
“Eve, Psyche, and Bluebeard’s Wife (feat. Demi Lovato)” highlights the musical interaction between LE SSERAFIM and Demi Lovato. The message of breaking taboos and growing towards a new world with meaning in the original song is enhanced by Demi Lovato’s interpretation and powerful vocals, sending a message that there are no limits to what they can achieve. The visualizer video, released on the same day, added fun by reinterpreting the myth and fairy tale motifs that inspired the song.
Following the collaboration with legendary American musician Nile Rodgers on the title track of their first regular album, “UNFORGIVEN (feat. Nile Rodgers),” Leeseraphim has proven their increased global status through a series of musical exchanges with overseas artists, such as releasing collaboration tracks with UPSAHL, Rina Sawayama, and Demi Lovato on their song “Eve, Psyche and Wife of the Blue Beard.”
The original popularity of “Eve, Psyche and Wife of the Blue Beard” continues. Four months after its release, the song maintained a spot in the top 10 on the latest weekly charts of Melon, Genie, and Bugs (for the period of July 24-30), ranking, respectively, 7th, 7th, and 10th. Additionally, it has charted for eight consecutive weeks, placing 48th on the latest Billboard Global (excluding the United States) chart and 88th on the Billboard Global 200 chart (as of August 5th).
