JUNNY, chosen by the top 3 hip-hop magazines in the US as a "hot trend artist”
Singer JUNNY has been recognized for his genius.
JUNNY's new song 'INVITATION (Feat. Gaeko)' has been selected as the 3rd place in '2023 K-POP Albums Highlighting Creative Genius' (UNVEILING HYPE K-POP CREATIVE GENIUS: HIGHLIGHTS FROM 2023) recently published on the official website of the leading American hip-hop magazine, The Source.
Regarding this, The Source stated that "JUNNY is currently a hot trend artist in K-POP" and "talented young artist JUNNY, who showed enough artistic aspects in 'INVITATION', has just begun to show himself."
The Source is one of the top 3 hip-hop magazines in the US and the most popular hip-hop music magazine locally. In 1998, for the first time since its founding, it covered an analysis article on K-POP and praised it for "captivating music fans around the world with genius creativity." Junny's name caught attention in the magazine.
"INVITATION (Feat. Gaeko)" is a song released by Junny on June 6th, which won first place in the '8bar Relay' music project by Devine Channel's producer, Lim Kwang-wook. It has a composite genre of R&B, hip-hop, soul, and pop, and dynamic duo Gaeko participated in featuring, lyrics, and composition to increase completeness. The song expresses the desire to invite the person they like to their home and spend a romantic night, as the title suggests.
Junni is a talented producer and singer-songwriter. He has produced hit songs for K-pop artists such as IU, EXO, and NCT. Since his official debut as a singer-songwriter in 2018, he has consistently released music that showcases his unique style. This year, he received high praise for his new song "Optimist" featuring Blase, as well as his album "INVITATION." Junni has been gaining momentum as a rising star, as evidenced by his feature in a popular American hip-hop magazine. In September, he will continue his global journey with performances in Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland.
