BTS’s V Makes Waves on Global Charts with Self-Produced Song
BTS member V has swept the global charts with his self-composed songs. On the afternoon of the 28th, V officially released three self-composed songs, “Winter Bear”, “Snow Flower”, and “Scenery”. These songs had previously been released for free through the global music platform SoundCloud, and after their official release, they have been active on various charts.
“Winter Bear”, released in 2019, topped the iTunes “Top Song” chart in 45 countries and regions around the world, including Japan, France, and Finland, as of 9:00 a.m. on the 29th. “Snow Flower”, released by V for Christmas in 2020, also topped the iTunes “Top Song” chart in 37 countries and regions around the world, including Sweden, Greece, and Turkey. Additionally, V’s self-composed song “Scenery”, released in 2019, also reached the top of the iTunes “Top Song” chart in 21 countries and regions around the world, including Singapore and Vietnam.
In addition, on the “Worldwide iTunes Song Chart”, “Winter Bear” ranked first, “Snow Flower” ranked second, and “Scenery” ranked third.
